Metal&Mend

Forged by life. Tempered by will.

Life already did the hard part. It heated you, hammered you, and made you strong, probably harder than you meant to be.

Tempering is the step after that, and it is the one you choose. We do it here, one hour at a time, in the body you actually have.

First session

We find the hard places

Ninety minutes. You tell me what your days ask of your body and where it has started saying no. Then we move, slowly, and I pay attention to the parts you've stopped noticing.

Ongoing

Heat, then rest

Each session is built from the last. Some weeks we build strength. Some weeks the whole hour is spent letting something go. Your body sets the pace, not a sequence.

Between sessions

Something to carry

You leave with two or three things you can actually do at home, written down in plain words, with why they matter for you and no one else.

How I help

The body you bring is the right one.

We talk about what your body does all day, what hurts, what you avoid, and what you want back. Then we find what it can do today, and we build from there.

I teach one person at a time, because the places that need softening are unique to you. A class has to move at the pace of the room, so it cannot find them. One on one, we find them together, and we take our time.

Trust what your body tells you, and then take care of it like something you intend to keep.

Why I teach

I know what it is to run on will alone.

Yoga taught me the other half: the body softens when you stop fighting it. I teach so you can learn that with someone paying attention.
